Guide to root Samsung Google Nexus 10:
Before you start:- Make sure that you have enough battery juice, at least 70%.
- Make sure that you are using an unlocked Google Nexus 10 as this guide is not for locked version and please don’t experiment with a locked Nexus 10.
- Make sure that you have enabled USB debugging in your tablet. If you haven’t, go to Settings > About Phone > Build number. Tap on Build number 7 times and after that you’ll get a confirmation like “You are now a developer”. After enabling the Developer Options, again go to Settings > System > Developer Options and check the Android USB Debugging option.
- Backup all your important data like contacts, messages, APN settings, Applications, etc. Although rooting doesn’t remove or wipe any data, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Download the files below as you need these files to root Samsung Google Nexus 10.Procedure to root Samsung Google Nexus 10:
- Begin with downloading all the files above on your PC since they are essential to root your Google Nexus 10.
- Now install the JDK (Java Development Kit). Also install Android SDK.
- After installing both Android SDK and JDK, open the Android SDK from the start menu. On opening the SDK, uncheck the “android SDK platform-tools” and “Google USB driver” and leave the rest of options checked and click install packages.
- Now again go back to the downloaded files and extract the CF-Root File somewhere on your computer.
- Pick up your Nexus 10 and restart it in Fast boot mode. You can enter into fast boot mode by pressing Volume Up and Volume Down button and Power Key altogether.
- Once you entered into fast boot mode, connect your tablet to your computer.
- After connecting it to computer, Go to the folder we extracted above and look for “root-windows.bat” and run it.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
